Cyber Sport 1.43
Update - August 20, 2000
(not compatible
with USA Hockey Versions)
This Update is compatible with
both the Ice and the In-Line version of the Software.
These are the updates released from Cyber Sport Software (formerly MacTess Management
Systems) since it was purchased. This update does not solve all
of the issues with the software but I hope it will hold you over
till the new version comes out. This package was created using
FoxPro 2.6 and it has limited functionality. I have been working
on the Upgrade for 2.0 but I have noticed since I bought the
company in March that this new version had limitations that I
thought I had better attend to it.
I have spoke to many of you and you all seem to agree, any new
version must be stable. As the new owner of Cyber Sport Software
Inc. I want to assure you that any subsequent versions will
undergo considerable testing prior to its release.

Some of the New Features and Fixes In
Version 1.42-1.43:
- The Backup and Restore are more
intelligent. It is much simpler to take your data to another computer.
- Another New Report including the Mutual Aid
Number. (See Sample)
Some of the New Features and Fixes In
Version 1.41:
- You can now Export
your data directly to Excel. This will
allow you web savvy users to post your schedules. When
you create an export, it will then ask you for the
filename so you can easily change where you want to store
your export. Three exports have been created for you.
They are: Personnel Info, League Schedule, and Game Score
results. (Note: All Personnel or Leagues (depending on
export) will be exported, you will need to determine
which are most suitable for your application)
- Three new Teams Rosters
Reports were created:
Roster Address/Phone Info - Name,
Address, City, State/Prov, Zip/Postal, Phone.
Roster P/G Info - Name, DOB, Phone, PG1
name, Phone, PG2 name, Phone.
Roster Player Info - Name, DOB,
Position, Shot, Ht, Wt, Ranking, Phone, Alt Phone..
- All the Report
Names have been changed. (New Report Names)
- Scheduler:
If you viewed the scheduler prior to creating one the
scheduler would only schedule one game. This one took a
long time to isolate, thanks you all for your patients.
- Scheduler:
If you had a relatively large odd number of teams in the
division in would create the schedule.
- Scheduler:
A remaining Y2K error where you could not enter a 4 digit
year until you viewed a report.
- Some people were
indicating that the report list was not being displayed
properly.
